Despite the weather not cooperating for the fireworks, we had a great 4th of July mini vacation!
We enjoyed our yearly reunion with my best friends from back in the day. Three Momma's, seven kids, my how times have changed!

We ventured out on our first family kayaking trip. We stayed out for an hour and I think the kids could have longer. I have never seen them so well behaved. Maybe we should kayak more often?

Of course, Saturday ended up being absolutely gorgeous, but we needed to head home to unpack and organize some more. Tear, tear.
