The kids and I went up to Meme and Papa's for a quick visit. Daddy has been very busy with work and poor Lindalee hasn't been feeling well. It was very nice to get a little help and breath some fresh country air. The kids enjoyed it as well.
There was quite a bit more snow at Meme and Papa's. Despite the FREEZING temperatures, the kids convinced Meme to take them out sledding.
The kids had a great time. Despite the workout and cold, I think Meme had a pretty good time too.
Home again, home again...
Carrot and hummus "K"
With Christian not in a regular school program, I've been working hard {and enjoying} at incorporating learning activites throughout the day. I feel like I'm finally beginning to understand how he learns, and I find it so interesting {and cute}. It's easy to assume he would learn like I did- pen and paper. Christian doesn't hold a marker for more than a second or two at a time. He likes to express himself in other ways. His favorite thing to do is create letters and numbers out of his food. At first I thought he was being silly, but then realized he was doing a really great job. I'm learning I need to change my approach and follow his lead. I'm sure Lindalee will be totally different. I have to be thankful that these kiddos keep me on my toes!
