Christmas hangover

December 28th, 2013

Our company has left, the kids are overtired and moody, I'm exhausted, and toys are everywhere.  I call it the Christmas hangover.  But, it was all worth it!

My "little mommy" taking her baby for a stroll.

Meegan, a good friend from Charlotte, was up in the area visiting her family.  The kids and I drove up to Portsmouth to get coffee with her and her twin boys.  It was really great to catch up.  It seems like we have been in Boston for more than two months.  It feels like forever since we have been in Charlotte. I really do miss that place, mostly because of our wonderful friends there.  The kids were really good while Meegan and I caught up over coffee.  The "babies" kept Lindalee 100% entertained.  They didn't care she was shoving empty bottles in their mouths and forcing toys into their hands.

Christian asked me if I would take a picture of him in the snow.  We don't have much left in Boston, but there is plenty in New Hampshire!

After our visit, I took the kids to Meme and Papa's to stay with them for the night.  Abbi and Rick were coming down to visit us and enjoy an "adult night out".  The kids were very happy to be at Meme and Papa's, especially when they discovered that Santa had left gifts for them in NH too!

New car, new purse, new PJ's- one happy little girl!

We enjoyed a night out with the Lundborns.  Great dinner and a fun concert- until I passed out.  That darn Christmas hangover got the best of me this year!

Really though, I am thankful for all the things that left me so exhausted!
