Family fun!

January 5th, 2014

We went into the weekend with no plans.  It ended up being a very busy and very fun weekend full of some of our favorite people!

Everyone is happy on the weekend when Daddy can play all day!

The other day, Christian was in our apartment playing with his toys and he stopped and said, "Oh, Mommy, I am so happy to be here!".  I asked him why and he replied, "I love playing with Riley and Lucy!".  {Another melt my heart moment}.  He was in luck, Riley and Lucy were having similar thoughts and insisted on paying us a visit this weekend, a very pleasant surprise!

Lucy was excited to give Lindalee a purse for her doll.  Lindalee was very excited to receive a purse for her doll.

Girl cousin cuddles!

Later that day, more visitors arrived!

Lindalee and Meme playing in "Elliot's" {humidifier} mist.

Lindalee wasn't in the best mood for dining out.  Thankfully we had lots of hands to help, and lots of stickers.

Lindalee saw this picture and insisted it was "Dada"

Ketchup and raisins.  Gross.  Lindalee didn't think so.

Beautiful night in Boston!

Christian and Auntie Pha dancing in the "sewers"

The kids were exhausted from their busy day and feel asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows.  This allowed for the adults to enjoy a {rowdy} game night.  I'm not sure how we didn't wake the children.  My stomach hasn't hurt so badly from laughing in a long time.

Sunday morning, the boys enjoyed some superhero time while we waited for the rest of the family to arrive.  They stayed in a hotel because they all wanted to get some sleep {sleep, what's that?}.

Their best "Two Face" impression

After some practice, Christian really got it down.

Lindalee making a mess, as usual.  It's a good thing she's so cute!

Lindalee practicing her sledding skills in preparation for Boston Common.

One cool {I mean warm} girl!  Ready to take on the hill!

Daddy, Uncle James, and the children at the top of the hill!

I think she liked it.

Even a wipe-out didn't take the smile off his face

Pretty girls!

Somebody wants their mommy {what's new?}!

Snowball time!

Practice makes perfect, Uncle James!  I think he looks like a natural.

Thankful for a weekend full of family and crazy fun!
