New Years Eve

December 31st, 2013

Daddy had to go to work, so the kids and I headed to our favorite place to hang out.  Christian asked to go straight to "learn about the human body".  Off to the Hall of Human Life!

Christian sat for ten minutes as he learned about allergic reactions, T helper cells, and all kinds of rather complicated things.  He is always talking about allergies at home {he doesn't have any that we know of} and was really into the entire allergy exhibit.  So random.  Maybe he'll be an allergist?

While Christian studied the audio kenetic machine {again} Mommy and Lindalee had fun playing silly games.

To bring in the New Year we had a nice little family dinner and then got together with the Maybaums.  Christian was very excited for a NYE toast with the "bubbly juice" he picked out at the store.

Christian didn't take more than a sip.  He just sat and listened to the "bubbles popping".

  

We all put on our winter gear and strolled over to the Boston Commons for some early fireworks and other New Year Eve festivities. 

The fireworks where a hit with the kids.  They even sparked a little romance between Christian and Lana {holding hands}.

The kids did a great job staying out late.  The Maybaum girls could have stayed out all night, but Christian and Lindalee both started melting down {simultaneously}.

We got back to our apartment and put Christian and Lindalee to bed.  Christian had to be carried from the stroller to bed because he wouldn't move.  When I tucked him in he said, "Mommy, count to four and I will be asleep".  He was OUT!

We enjoyed the final hours of 2013 with some Russian champagne and wonderful company.

Incredible thankful for a wonderful year and all of it's many blessings!
