Date night!

November 16th, 2013

Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a wonderful date night while the kiddos stayed entertained at Meme and Papa's house.  We haven't enjoyed a {truly} good sushi dinner in over four years and were excited to try out Boston's finest.  It did not disappoint.

We finished the night enjoying chocolate cake and port wine at Finale.  Another good choice, Chris.  It was a beautiful walk home.  The weather has been pleasantly mild.  We watched "Side-effects" and proceeded to get a solid 9 hours of sleep.  I am a new woman!

I asked Meme to take some pictures for me.  She did a great job, thanks Meme!

Meme found Lindalee a "princess stool" to use when going potty.

She loves it!

Christian insisted on wearing his overalls while I was getting him dressed for Meme and Papa's.  He said he's a farmer when he goes to NH.

Instead of resting, Christian stayed outside and helped Meme with some yard work.

He told Meme she was working him "very hard".

Playing on the pumpkins

Climbing trees!

Posing in the tire swing.

Sliding down the slide!

I got this email from Meme:
"What's up with this 5 am wake up time, raring to go???? Where DOES this boy get this energy from? Did wait until 6ish, he came downstairs and was so excited that it was still dark, as he believed that he stayed up all night...(last night he indicated that he did not need sleep and wanted to stay up all night:)
5:00, whatever, what a way to wake up to a cute little boy giving you a big kiss and saying, "Meme, I love you so much"...enough said:)"

Lindalee's drawing "Dada".  She was very proud.

Everyone got "ants in their pants" so Meme took them to a play place.

I was pretty excited to get up to NH to see the kiddos.  I missed them!

We went out on a nighttime treasure hunt, in the light of the full moon. The kids loved it, Daddy got cold.

Christian putting on a magic show for us.  His stage name is "Bob the Magician".  The act was surprisingly good for a 3.5 year old!

Love this boy!

Thankful for a wonderful night with my husband and knowing they were in good hands {and having a blast}!
