Ugh. Not the happiest of Veteran's Days, at least for us. It was nice to have Chris home for the day. Chris {though still recovering from his weekend} took the kids to the park for the morning while I organized all of missing possessions I found and brought back from my parent's basement. When they got back, Chris looked like he was going to throw up. We got news that the contract on our house was terminated today. It's a long, rather painful story, that I don't feel like getting into.
Thankfully, we have two little cuties that make it impossible not to smile.
Not sure what's up with the expressions, but they were really excited that Mommy {while sorting through our boxes} found a Red Sox hat for Lindalee. She's been trying to steal Christian's hat for weeks.
Some Daddy loving {he needed it}. Note: her new stick-on earrings. Every morning she asks me to put on her necklace {like Mama} and has recently been pointing to her ears, asking for earrings. She was completely delighted when I put two little "earrings" on her this morning.
Zoe's biggest advocate, taking her out for another walk.
To cheer us all up, we headed to the South Shore Plaza. Really, the only reason we went was because of the Lego store there. Christian has been really good {besides his 5:15 wake up calls}, so we wanted to give him a little reward. It was a ridiculous mall, we all had a great time exploring. Christian and Chris spent the whole time in the Lego store. Christian was in heaven. He could have stayed all night long. Lindalee had a great time exploring the stores with me. She was especially interested in the shoes. She insisted on walking the whole time {no stroller for this girl} and carrying the bags on her arm.
Thankful for our two little ones who make us happy, without even trying.
