How do I have a four year old? Having children is beginning to make me feel old. It's a good thing they are actually the ones who keep me young. We had a great day celebrating our amazing little boy. I'm pretty sure he had a great day as well.
Christian had some sweet birthday requests.
#1: A big number balloon like the one Mommy had for her birthday, but the number 4
#2: Balloons on his chair, since he's the birthday boy
#3: Streamers everywhere
#4: Balloons all over the ceiling
Of course, he got all of those things {and more}. He woke up so happy and quite pleased.
Party hats and noise makers were the icing on the cake!
Lindalee enjoyed the birthday accessories just as much as Christian {if not more}.
Christian's birthday loot, he couldn't wait to start opening presents.
Jake and the Neverland! Meme and Papa knew exactly what this little boy would love. Chris' response, "Cool! Looks like it takes up a lot of space!"
Watching a special "birthday movie" with Meme.
Christian showing off some of his special decorations.
Lindalee actually wanted to be in a picture!
I won't forget Christian's face when he saw me come down the stairs in my celebratory super hero leggins. He said, "Mommy, someday when I'm bigger, can I wear those!?"
Christian and Lindalee jumping on Daddy while he plays with legos.
We headed to Portsmouth and surprised Christian with a pizza party and two special guests- Uncle James and Auntie Pha. They got there early to make our section extra special for the birthday boy, both Christian and Lindalee were thrilled!
Happy birthday to you, Christian!
Christian got a little shy when everyone started singing, "Happy Birthday!"
What four year old asks for carrot cake with carrot frosting for his birthday cake? He was very pleased.
Lindalee enjoyed the cake as well. She even stole Meme's piece.
Caught in the act!
We decided to let the kiddos burn off some energy running around Portsmouth before we headed to Auntie Pha and Uncle James' house. They were high on sugar!
The whole birthday crew!
Christian and Lindalee are always excited to hang out at Luna's {Steph and James' cat} house. Uncle James played the guitar, Christian and Auntie Pha played superheros, and Lindalee harassed the cat. Good times!
"Before you were conceived, I wanted you. Before you were born, I loved you. Before you were an hour, I would die for you. This is the miracle of love" -Maureen Hawinks
Beyond thankful for my precious gift from above. I will always be the one to have loved him first.
