Happy Easter! After all the preparations and pre-Easter festivities, the children were ready for the big day. Christian was up at 5am saying that he could hear the Easter bunny downstairs.
Christian & Lindalee with their Easter bunny loot. Good thing the bunny put yogurt covered raisins inside the eggs. The kids opened and ate every single one before the morning was over.
They were extremely excited about the baby chicks the Easter bunny had left for them. We got it on video, it was so sweet to see their faces light up when they saw their surprise. Lindalee was slightly disappointed, "No pink baby chick". Maybe next year? All day, she made baby noises at them and said "Ohh, baby chicks!"

Lindalee eating more yogurt covered raises.
Lindalee checking on her babies.
Lindalee loved her lego gift from the Easter bunny. She's used to playing with superhero and star wars legos, so this was a big treat for her.

Crazy Christian speeding on his trike.
Looking special!
These pictures of Christian with his feathered friends are too cute not to share.
Christian and Meme have been playing a lot of baseball and Christian has gotten quite good. He was happy to show off his skills with Daddy. Good thing our new house has a big back yard. I see a lot of home runs in his future.
Lindalee was thrilled when Uncle James and Auntie Pha showed up. Every time she sees Uncle James she gives him a very big and very long hug.
After rest time, Christian and Lindalee discovered the Easter bunny had left them an Easter egg hunt outside. How did they miss all those eggs earlier in the day!? Magical!
We tried to get some nice pictures of the children in the Easter attire. Christian has always been extremely cooperative with picture taking, Lindalee is extremely uncooperative. She runs in the opposite direction if she notices someone is snapping a photo of her.
Seconds after this was taken, Lindalee threw mulch all over herself and her brother.
We brought out some bubbles and it seemed to make her forget about the pictures that were being taken.
Attempted family photo.
Thankful for a gorgeous Easter day, wonderful memories, and family to share it with.
