With all the crazy things going on in our lives right now, I had set some pretty low expectations on my big 3-0 celebration. With that being said, I am so blessed to have some of the most amazing people in my life to make me feel incredibly special. Despite our unpredictable life schedule, my family was able to plan a most perfect 30th birthday celebration. The weekend was a blast, but what meant the most was the thought that went into everything. They really made me feel like the most loved 30 year old in the world.
Hanging out at the Mt. Washington Hotel; Chris and I enjoyed some drinks and games. He beat me so badly, even though I was the birthday girl. He claimed we've been together too long for him to play nice.
We enjoyed a gorgeous sunset.
When we arrived back to our condo- SURPRISE!
Chris told me he and James tried to make the weekend special, but it was all Stephanie's doing. She is a master at planning events and even the smallest details of this weekend she made so special. It meant more to me than she'll ever know! I love you Auntie Pha!
We got up the next day and headed to the slopes. It was a "Beach Party" themed day. If you wore something beachy, it was $20 for a day pass. I was more excited about dressing up than the discount. The weather reflected the theme of the day. It was absolutely gorgeous. The most amazing ski weather I have ever experienced. Happy birthday to me!
Beach party!
The party crew at the summit.
My studly husband, relaxin'. It appears that Chris' blood has "thickened up" a bit over the winter.
Yes, I did a run in my bikini top. It was awesome, and just a little chilly.
We all enjoyed a very fancy evening out. Not sure if our slightly outrageous crew fit in very well at the restaurant, but we had a great time and livened the place up a bit.
Afterwards we went out to a bar and enjoyed live music, drinks, and danced the night away. It was a blast. I'm not sure when the last time was that I had so much fun.
The next morning, my fat, ugly brother out did himself. James, with some planning assistance from his lovely wife, made me a special birthday breakfast. My favorite food in the world- CREPES! I hate to give him this kind of credit, but they were the best crepes I have ever had in my life. It was also one of the sweetest things my ugly brother has ever done for me. Let's just say, I won't forget it any time soon.
After a weekend of adult celebration, it was great to get back to my two little ones. They had a fun-filled weekend with Meme and Papa. Both Christian and Lindalee were thrilled to show me the amazing cupcakes they made for me. I could tell most of them had been test tasted by little finger marks left in the frosting. They were quite delicious!
The two best birthday gifts in the whole wide world!
For my actual birthday, we spent the day walking around the city, one of my most favorite things to do.

One of my favorite spots with my favorite people!
Christian and Daddy racing down the hill with Lindalee trying to partake in the fun.
My parents came down in the afternoon to celebrate. We headed to Winchester and had some {delicious} Chinese food before doing some house hunting.
Lindalee insisted on Daddy sitting "right here" and Papa sitting "right here". She was a happy little girl squished between these two guys.

Lindalee was excited to practice her chopstick skills.
Not bad!
Thankful for all the blessings 30 years of life has brought my way!
